IPAF SITE ASSESSMENT (FOR MEWP SELECTION) COURSE
Who is the course for?
Eagle Platforms offer the brand new IPAF Site Assessment course for candidates who need to understand how to carry out a comprehensive site assessment and then select the right MEWP for the job.
The duration of this course is half a day and candidates must hold a valid PAL Card proving prior completion of IPAF operator training, IPAF MEWPs for Managers course or a MEWPs Supervisor qualification.
what are the aims of the course?
In terms of who is suited to taking this brand new course, candidates will probably fall into one of these categories:
• Rental company staff who need to be able to recommend clients specific machinery for distinct jobs and sites
• Health and safety employees who must carry out an assessment of MEWPs on site for their suitability to the terrain, job and conditions
• A responsible person in a company who wants to inform themselves as to how best to make decisions on the appropriate MEWPs for any given site and reduce the risk of accidents.
