The words clean and diesel may seem contradictory, but the reality is that diesel has come a long way and by taking advantage of modern, stage 5 diesel engines you end up with by far the most efficient combustion engine, yielding far greater fuel efficiency than petrol or gas options. 

Modern stage 5 diesel engines, which have strict emission limits, are used in many MEWPs, which Eagle Platforms supply. Our modern fleet helps to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to moving towards more sustainable industrial practice.

There are situations where either hybrid or diesel engines are required, over fully electric engines, on rugged terrain and where extremely intensive, sustained use is necessary.

Today’s Deutz diesel technology combines with engines benefiting from highly honed components and combustion strategies, as well as benefiting from ultra-low sulphur diesel fuels and emission control technology, which when they all combine dramatically reduces and almost eliminates emissions from such diesel engines.

Eagle Platforms now carries more than half of its fleet of diesel engines as low carbon emission units and plans to convert the remaining units to the same in the next 2 years.
