We supply deionised battery water with all electric scissors and cherry pickers and for longer hires we deliver free replacement drums of deionised water if you run dry!

Customers have been billed for damaged batteries when site neglects to carry out the daily check of water levels and top up the electric MEWP batteries. Rendering them unserviceable and needing replacement. Each set can cost a minimum of £1,000.00 plus Vat, depending on the size of the machine.

Our clients recently suggested that we supply deionised water with the electric machines, so that their team on site can easily check and top up as required. We added extra alert warning stickers to each machine and each water container, and the result in the past month, no clients have been charged for replacement damaged batteries.

Better still they suffered no down time from work on site.

So please use the water provided daily and avoid downtime and bills.

Although the checks should be daily (as per IPAF training) if the hire is more than a week and the water levels are not replenished, the batteries will already be failing to hold a full day charge and reduces their overall effectiveness of the days use of the machine and potentially lead to an invoice for replacement batteries.

This can be avoided by topping up the batteries as needed daily please, which is why we add this extra service.
