I would like to extend my sincere thanks to you all for the invitation to attend and speak at yesterday’s Elevation Conference.

It was an extremely rewarding and worthwhile event, bringing together so many professionals from across our industry to openly discuss the growing challenge of hire fraud and the practical steps we can all take to reduce the risks within our own businesses.

A special thank you must also go to the police officers and all those involved in the fraud investigations who generously shared their experience and expertise. Their presentations provided a valuable insight into the scale of organised crime affecting our industry and reinforced the importance of collaboration between hire companies, manufacturers, industry bodies, and law enforcement.

I hope everyone who attended came away with a greater understanding of the threats we all face, together with practical measures that can help protect our businesses and customers in the future.
