JOB OVERVIEW/SUMMARY

Eagle Platforms Ltd, the growing access company currently have over ÂŁ11M of assets for hire. Based in Sheffield, where due to our expansion we currently seek a Hire Controller working at our HQ with an attractive salary package available for the best candidate.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

Summary of responsibilities below:

  • Manage work orders in compliance with the service flow process.
  • Assist the Service Manager in creating work orders for the workshop and local mobile service team.
  • Using information from reports provided by the technicians, complete cause, and correction information on the work orders prior to billing customers.
  • Research and identify components competitively.
  • Accurately identify, record and order technicians parts requests to complete work orders.
  • Monitor orders to anticipate late deliveries and escalate deficiencies to the Operations Director.
  • Submit warranty information in a timely manner to the manufacturers.
  • Assist Service Director in setting and maintaining inventory levels for the location.
  • Maintain stock takes in an orderly professional fashion.
  • The role is a liaison with key suppliers and our service managers to buy wisely and quickly to help us keep the fleet on the road.
  • A second important aspect to this work is charging damage repairs to clients where necessary.
  • Sending our team of mobile engineers to site to carryout emergency repairs and preventative maintenance etc.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate;

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a knowledge of hire/asset equipment as this is essential to the role. Experience of the hire sector is preferred but not essential. You should possess exceptional customer service skills.

The salary range is ÂŁ26,000.00 to ÂŁ30,000.00. Includes 25 days paid holidays, free BUPA private healthcare, and contributory pension scheme.
